During the summer the main centre is full to the brim with different kinds of markets, from food and drink to a beautiful flower market, you'll always see happy tourists wandering around.
Then you hear a bit of noise, a little bit of laughter and maybe an engine being revved; this means one thing and one thing only, the bikers have arrived.
Bikers from all over the place go on a massive road trip and Béziers is one of their pit-stops and they really make the most of it. They all park their motorbikes on pretty much any open space they can find and head on over to fill the bars and empty the barrels. You're free to walk around and take photos of all of the bikes, and trust me, you'll want to.
Now, we are talking legit real bikers, dressed head to toe in leather, tattoos peeking out from their jackets, bandanas, sunglasses and long hair. They often bring their wives with them to take up the back seat and they too are all dressed in full biker gear. Picture John Travolta and company in the Wild Hogs movie, only cooler. As long as you can come to terms with the typical biker = scary criminal dude stereotype then you can join them from a drink and hear all about their adventures, this is coming from experience!
The bikers show up usually at the end of summer, so around September time. Most of the students will have already started school by then and are all in the bars by 2-3pm enjoying the end of summer, so it's so much fun to go down to the bars during that time because you'll often see students and bikers mixed together at a table playing cards.
